Alternative Assignment

  Without art, music, and theater classes, we would have no way to express ourselves. These things are a part of our culture and are everywhere we look. If public schools were all about training people for the workforce, school would be boring. Life would be boring. Art, music, and theater is work, something people can make a living on. The workforce does not have to be hard and laboring, something that you'll hate. No one wants to go to work everyday hating what they do, and hating their life.
  Having these ways to express ourselves, make people happy. They can do what they love as some kind of job for the rest of their life, and they can inspire and make others happy too. We aren't wasting tax dollars, we are using them to make the world a better and more inspiring place. We also have many places for people to go into the workforce. We don't have just one place for people to go and work their lives away. Everyone chooses different paths.
  Also, this is school we are talking about. When you first enter school, you enter at a young age we next to no clue about anything in the world. School is here to teach us about our history, our mistakes, or books, and equations and sciences to help us improve the world. School is not suppose to force us to learn and get us ready for the workforce until our high school years. It is suppose to help us decide what we want to do with our lives and be there for small guidance to get where we want to be.
